how long would a bank transfer take to show in my account ??

It's only minutes in this country nowadays, can't you just phone your bank and ask them? they will give you an answer on the spot if your sweating over something.

Depends who and where it is coming from, i sold quite a few bits off my type R abroad, it does vary quite a bit, i got a letter from my bank each time confirming the payment details from abroad.

Lol Matt, I know the buyer he is 100%, I just thought it would be the same as a bank transfer here , speed of the internet and all, it was paid in am yesterday.

Normally about 3-4 days however with it being weekend may be a little while longer..

Mankind went to the moon and back over 4 decades ago and yet in todays world if instant communications across the globe it somehow still takes several working days to transfer money from one account to another - a task that realistically should be instantaneous.

It can "show" in a few hours but it won't "clear" for 3/4 days.

It takes 3 days to transfer money between MY Barclays Euro and Barclays GBP accounts so I would say a minimum of 3 days

I heard there was a scam for people paying the money into your account from Cyprus them the money being reclaimed back three weeks later due to being stolen from another account,

Hi Steve, no probs at all with the buyer I know him and trust him (he bought my sti 6 years ago, ) I was just asking how long will it be to get funds from him to me .

SWIFT payments are instantaneous in theory but first require an fx conversion on the spot market if more than one currency is involved. Fx spot settlement is 2 days after trade date.
