Cool Gravity (film)

Just watched it on IMAX.

It was very good indeed; works well on the massive screen and with 3D.

Heard good things too.

Also want to see Philomena, that one with Tom Hanks and Bad Grandpa.

Not had much of a chance to get off to the cinema with the wife recently since hitting parenthood and all that lol.

I'll watch it when it's out on DVD. SB is annoying, but I shall check out GC for sure in it.

I have to say that SB was much more composed and a bit adult speaking in Ross's show lately. Not like the last time when she talked like a 10 yr. old.

Won't work on the small screen in the same way, it needs the big 3D image. The medium is the message!

Oh, right. Then I shall go and see it 3D on the big screen.

Saw it last night. It's very much about making you feel as if you are there so won't be the same on your HD TV at home.

Wow, sounds good. I'd like to feel that I'm with JC in space. I'll kick SB off the spaceship and sit at her seat next to JC.

Seriously, you guys are giving good reviews. Thanks, and I must watch in the picture halls.

Heard good things about this film too, so I'll probably give it a watch.

Was really looking forward to it. For me, completely forgettable except for the technical achievement though. £11 each even in Scotland.

Saw Bad Grandpa on Friday night and Captain Phillips a few weeks ago. Haven't seen a film at the cinema as well made as Captain Phillips for a long time. Really just a riveting film. I would definitely recommend it.

It was my girlfriend that wanted to see Bad Grandpa. I knew it would just be more of the same kind of humour as Borat etc and that's what it was. Didn't find it that funny and I do like a good laugh. So if you're struggling to make time I would say Captain Phillips is definitely the one to go for, although I haven't seen Philomena!

Philomena was brilliant, never expected the sucker punch half way in and another at the end.

Me and the other 'arf have Cineworld Unlimited Cards. £15 a month and go as often as we want, a few extra quids for 3D. We even get invites to early showings, saw Capt Phillips a week before general release.

Not sure it would be worth it as don't go that often, but if we did that would be a deal.

It was OK, imagery not as good as life of pi and I half expected sharks to appear at the end as thats how bad a day she was having. It would probably look better on my home setup than the cinema anyway.

Not a bad film but not great either.

I've always been a big Sandra Bullock fan so it was worth it to see her in those tight shorts

Problem is all the way through I kept imagining how she would sit on my face in a zero gravity scenario. Well one can but dream.....
