Default Dremmels - which one?

Need to buy a Dremmel or similar.

Want to use it for intricate sanding on a fairly occasional basis so anyone any ideas which one I need?

Would rather pay a bit more and get a robust one, but at the same time I won't be using it every day so don't want to go mad.

Is there anyone with experience of these taht can offer some advice?

Thanks in advance.

I've had a Dremel in the toolbox for years and wouldn't be without one. Not cheap but they do last, still got the first one I bought 20 odd years ago and its still going

Last year purchased a Dremel 4000 which came with with plenty of attachments, including the flexi drive which is really handy.

I use a similar tool for work and although its larger than a dremmel the battery life and how robust it is is in a different league.

Just a link of what I use, they do it in a smaller vlt battery and also do a corded one.

The dremmel may be smaller but battery life is that bad compared to the Dewalt, I couldn't even get one day of light use out of a dremmel where as I could get a weeks use out of the dewalt.
