Terrible, even more so when it was suspected arson.

Not everything gets above the SN Radar.

I was just thinking that had it been 3 white, middle class kids and their mother who had died in such circumstances, and with everything else that had been suspected of the reasons it happened, it would have been picked up on here.
I mean, it's been national news since it happened.
From what I understand, the family had just moved here, and the father was due to move here to work.

Horrifying.
SNetters are too busy vulturing Muslims at any earliest opportunities, so I doubt they would have paid attention to even white family dying like that around this time when the Veil issue is hot. Well, unless their perpetrators were Muslims or non-whites.

Not about the tragic event. But the expectance of it triggering yet another SN debate - presumably about race/religion. And to be utterly frank, if it did, the posts would be nothing I haven't read before.
Arson is arson IMO, with the way people and the media are these days I'm just not bothered in hearing or reading any further into it than that. Hence the meh!
Maybe if more facts came to light about the circumstances and motives I'd be inclined to post something. But there really isn't anything.

OK, Ali.

Why did you not start a thread on this when it happened if you felt so strongly? The "veil issue" thread started 3 days after the arson attack.
