Anyone know their plants from a flat 4?
If so, anyone tell me what this plant is. I've not planted it, it just appeared.

Think the pink/purple 'flowers' are just weeds, don't have a clue what, sorry.
Are the larger of the green leaves in the photo separate from the flowers? I ask because it looks like the bindweed we've had in our garden. If it is, kill it now because if you leave it, it will take over your garden.

Right, I love a challenge and after extensive Googling, I have come up with this: http://www.floralencounters.com/Seed...roductid=51701
Not a weed per se, see if it matches your mystery plant. It's quite pretty

We are all too preoccupied with neatness, no wonder the bees are in trouble. We need fewer neat lawns and more wild flowers. The adverts on TV for killing weeds and pulling up weeds are quite chilling I think.

I'd agree with that, I delight in our wild back lawn. Greenthumb would have nightmares over it but there's no way I'm filling the garden with chemicals, especially as we also have a well, and one day we may need to use it for more than watering plants.

They are called "Honesty", my wife loves them. Latin name "Lunaris something"
When the flowers drop off, they leave seed pods which are about 25mm across, round and flat, the seeds being visible inside them as they dry.
Once they are there they are difficult to eradicate properly, but do no harm and are attractive.

Google - love it or hate it.
Type in Subaru & there are thousands of websites out there, type in something like "plant with triangular leaves & purple flowers" & get no where.
Description matches exactly what I've got - many thanks for that.
I do remember my parents years ago having a plant that had silver transluscent seed pods, but I don't remember them looking like what I'll got, so most probably a variation of the plant.

Only right to thank you also for your contribution
Apologies for not mentioning you originally, but went down the list of posts to see what was there.
Who'd have thought asking someone to identify flowers could cause so much competitive streaks in people
