OK getting into the summer vibe (and more specifically two weeks in Cala Bona Majorca), bought some Oakleys froman American site a couple of years ago and saved about 30% on what I would have paid here, not bad.
Any ideas for good sites fellas?
Thanks

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but try: www.smithsport.com
Their Voodoo sunglasses from the Slider range are brilliant. I've just bought a pair and they are, in my opinion, much better than any Oakley sunglasses that I've owned.
Andy.

How come there are no Oakleys advertised on that site and even a search comes back with nothing? I thought that Oakleys were priced the same everywhere in the UK due to Oakley governing the price - you sell them cheaper and they stop supplying you. Only place I get them cheaper is either on hols in the US or as my brother works in a surf shop and gets 25% staff discount.

I think the rrp was £220 and I paid £150-160. so not bad although I still don't know why I paid that much for a bit of plastic

I bought my Voodoo's from a company called Snow and Rock who's tel no is: 0845 100 1000.
If I remember correctly they were £82 incl delivery.
They may look like Oakley's but they're lighter and the lenses seem to be of better quality.

I've had 8 pairs of Oakleys over the last 10 years, every single pair I've had have broken
The arms snap and the frames have split.
All common faults, gotta say they do a good job of waranty repairs, even on glasses over a year old, trouble is you don't always get back the same colour frames you sent
I sent away a pair of clear framed straight jackets, got back white pearl framed ones.

Well you must be doing something like sitting on them to break them as Ive never had any issues with my 4 pairs. My brother broke a pair playing basketball when he had them on his head and got hit by a ball and they still fixed them free of charge.
