Do people really pay money to watch this guy's films

How the hll does he continue to get finance

The only decent film he's ever been is over 20 years old, and in that he was out acted by a 55 year old, 35,000 ton Battleship

You didnt like Machete then?

He also now trains UFC MMA world champion Anderson Silva. I didnt realise seagal was 7th Dan in Aikido. Not sure he could retake that in his current physique!

He is a reservist - so not paid - and AFAIK his rank is administrative only too.

I watched a couple of his shows - "law man". Its weird. Its like he is trying to carry on his "cop" characters from films onto the street. Very odd.

Haha I had my doubts considering his obvious over indulgence in recent years. That said it still takes something to get to 7th Dan even if it was a long time ago so I am sure he has something to offer over and above comedy value and mates rates on the “Seagal” dvd box set

A couple of months ago I caught 5 minutes of one of his movies before switching channels in disgust. He - Seagal - was on a landing, fighting of course, he then moved to go down some stairs. He didn't run down the stairs he walked calmly. Well he didn't do a damned thing on the stairs because it was obvious that it was a stuntman/double doing the actual walking.

A stunt double to walk down some steps!?!?! wow!

I used to really like his (earlier) films. But not so sure now he's a bloater. There must be a time to retire?

The only film I watched with him in it he was sucked out of an airplane within 10 mins of the start. I also don't watch films with Van Damme, Hugh Grant and a recently added Sean Penn (views on The Falklands).

Mr Segal , certainly brings back the memories.
I was over in Manchester for a boys weekend and on the first night we ran into a bunch of girls on a night out in Picadilly, one thing led to another and I managed to pull one of em simply by asking if they knew of any cash machines locally (I think the accent did it as they all slid off their seats when I opened my gob).

We got to her house and she told me to go on into the living room and asked if I wanted to watch a movie. Happy days I thought, rubbing my hands, she came in from the kitchen with a tape and put it in, fukin Steven Segal starring in "Hard to kill", couldnt believe it, that said, it lasted 5 mins before I told her to get up them stairs! Certainly one of my more memorable nights as a singleton all those years ago.
Steven Segal though, ffs.

From 88 - 92 he was the boss with films like nico, marked for death and under seige but it seemed to go down hill from there. I did like exit wounds and machete though.

Ya see this is where ignorance comes in , the irish/Northern Irish terrorists (both sides) are not stupid, they set a device and retreat to a safe location, live to see another day whereas middle eastern variants are stupid, they stand and detonate it themselves the eejits!

She did explode several times that night all the same

Same here, mixed family throughout, means you can take a step back and just shake your head at all of the stupidity in the country. If my numbers came up, Id not even need to think twice about getting the hell out.

MrsD's first husband was catholic, so my two stepkids are half breeds. They're both destined to burn in hell for all eternity now

If the rumours are to be believed, a number of those killed in 'accidents' were assisted by operatives from a certain regiment

His film's are good if you want to just sit back and vegatate in front of the TV for a couple of hours, they don't require a lot of thinking to try and figure out the plot. It would be rude to continue this thread without this...

Happy Birthday Captain
(hopefully this is the correct scene as my works pc doesn't have the latest Flash installed)

He is one of rare reasons, if I see his name, I will automatically reject the film without even looking at any other details.
