Talking up at the end of a sentence replaced by people eccentuating the letter K
Talking up at the end of sentences seems to have gone out of fashion - unless you're Australian..
And to replace this verbal annoyance is accentuating 'K's - usually if they are at the end of a final word in any given sentence. 'need to do some worK', for example. I'm getting old I know, but this really bugs me.
Anyone else noticing this one?
Nick

Southerners who lisp, or speak like that tw@ Oliver.
The number of people who can't pronounce an "R".
Southern females who say "Lick at that bick" when they mean "look at that book"...THEY want to fick off!
And don't even mention cockneys, mockneys and the fackin rest...........wiw you?
And how many of the above actually have to speak for a LIVING, ie: on TV/radio, yet can't do it properly??????

Not the same, but what's with somethink, nothink, everythink.
Tulisa does it and it makes her sound even thicker than she is.
I automatically assume people are of well below average intelligence if i hear them do this. So far, i'm yet to be proved wrong.
