Default Sky multi room

Just had sky multi room installed up stairs in the bed room and the sky HD box won't record or pause live tv etc.

Looking at what I signed up for looks like it's the one I've asked for but can it be upgraded to be able to record in both rooms? Bit disapointed if it's not.

I connected my old sky plus box and viewing is fine but when I try to hit pause it brings up a warning sign saying that action can be taken...

For my bedroom i ran a cable out of the hd box downstairs and use a magic eye in the bedroom therefore no need for multi room.
The multi room i do have is in the extension which i use a sky+ box at no extra cost.

Quite simple really. All you need is some cable, the magic eye, and another remote. Connect the cable to the spare output in the back of the box downstairs, run the cable upstairs into the magic eye which in turn plugs into the back of your upstairs tv.
The magic eye enables you to control the box downstairs from upstairs....magic

The above link is for sky+, i bought the hd remote as both work with the eye, have a search as there's plenty of info.

For upstairs I just ran a cable from the dish to my bedroom, then bought a freesat hd box. For subscription channels on Sky I just plug my laptop into the tv and use sky go.

It wouldn't of been outside interference you would of been putting the rf2 channel out put on a frequency already occupied from the tv transmitter.
