Default What a fabulous day.

Just had a walk up to the local woods with my Mrs, through the gardens and park and up to the woodland.

Not many flowers out yet, a few celandines , but the woods are a carpet of bluebell leaves and wild garlic.

Birdsong, the sun was warm enough for t-shirt, or even bare-chested, (me, NOT the Mrs), and we even saw a squirrel. Is it Spring?

Same day as very other then Jamz! Had the kids out at the park yesterday and stayed out to watch an auto-testing event - was in the garden / green house until 7.30 and it was still pleasant outside.

It has been wonderful here in North Wales for almost all week. Enjoy the sunshine, everyone.

That's a lot, mine have done just under 15 today, but, because we face SW, they are still going strong.

Enjoyed the weather too. Painted my new gate with Cuprinol, did a tip run to clear the back yard a bit, had a mooch round a few shops looking for a thinner gro-bag for Isaac and then had an ice-cream at Central Park with Isaac in the swings.

Nice day all round and cost basically naff all.

Lovely week forecast too Got a little work to do on Wednesday, but apart from that I think it's time to dust off the cobwebs and deposit some rubber, brake dust and soot on the Dales Might even put the track tyres on for a real blast

Took the dog for a walk in the local park and it was heaving - people having picnics and all sorts - it can't be far off spring (I hope)

On a family holiday as a child we once went there. It was a Friday, and it was shut ! Felt really eery, like a scene from a post apocalyptic movie. Literally no-one there and all doors closed and locked.

Took the family up to Silverstone today to watch the Mrs take part in her first half marathon. Lovely weather, spirited drives both ways, and most importantly she finished well, something I'm extremely proud of.

Sunny Bangor lived up to its name this weekend for a change.
Spent a few hours on Ballyholme beach with the kids and pup.

So much for the MetOffice's "clear all day" for here for monday.

Not seen the sun yet, thick grey cloud.
Bet they've changed their "forecast".
