Default Does crime pay?

These people spent up to 6 months tunnelling to nick a cash machine.

Surely it would have been easier to get a proper job.

Reminds me of the idiots spending years in jail for theft. Giving it the master criminal/mister big/hard man posturing bol*ox .
Most of them could have earnt many times the amount they stole by getting a part time job at Tescos.

Some of those machines hold more than 250k when full .. they dig the tunnel, wait for the refill ..

I'd guess you don't make that much a year ?

Only the ones in banks hold big amounts of cash, alot of those small link type machines hold 3-5k. This machine had bugger all in it becuase it was identified as vulnerable to theft according to breakfast news today.

Ive decided that stupid crimes deserv a stupid punishment. So petti crimes should be ... Land fill site and collect 1 tonne of plastic. NOT 10hrs... Do it on weight. Win win for the country & the planet. And if they did this I'd start wiping my **** on milk bottles

That was a lot of fill to deal with?!?
They'd have made more money digging holes legitimately for a utilities company than doing that in six months
