Adverts on BBC News Website
Since when has the BBC started placing ads on its news website, see here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/
Does that mean i get a partial refund on my tv licence
Hopefully everyone else can see the ad, if not it means i have been hacked or something.

The BBC have always run ads for people accessing the site from outside of the UK. Are you outside of the UK or possibbly accessing via a proxy server outside of the UK?
. have added a toolbar to my browser maybe that is doing it. thought it was a bit strange.

That should tell you where in the world the Internet thinks you are. If it's not in the UK then that is your issue, if not I dunno
