Got one.
Love it.
All the Android goodness and HTC Sense all bundled in. Screen is beautifully clear, responses are very fast, and there are lots of good touches in the finish and use of the phone.
Thoroughly recommend it.

What he said, I've only had mine for a couple of days, but boy am I imressed with it. Son has an iPhone 4 and the screen on that is, how shall I put it, dinky! Like comparing an HD 3D LED Telly with a 32" CRT..............
That should get some peeps going!

I've a HTC Desire. Friend bought the Sensation XE on the deal at Dialaphone to replace his iPhone 4. Had a play last night. It's nice. The beats audio works well. If you're after a sim-free deal, then the dialaphone one works out well cheap. £265 over 2 years. Ordering one for the other half too.
Sense (The UI) is very friendly and intuitive. Has all the power you could want, nice screen and a bigger battery over the sensation.

I'm considering the XE as my upgrade.
1) Should I wait? OS is changing to Ice Cream Sandwich very soon. Are existing Gingerbreads upgradeable? Is it worth waiting just for the new OS?
2) Anyone use protective cases?
3) Which SD card? Best transfer rate etc?
Thanks

I love my HTC Desire S, especially after the latest firmware update. Super slick with no lag. Camera isn't amazing, but that's not what I bought the phone for. Sure it is better on the sensation.
Do it, you will love it.

CUPERTINO, CA — Think Siri is all talk and no action?Think again.
Targeting lovestruck Siri fans, Apple today launched Siri Pro —at long last giving that little vixen Siri a unique and accommodating physical presence.
Whereas the Siri included with iPhone 4S can only go so far with her flirtation and innuendo, Siri Pro is designed for a more fulfilling relationship. She’s a fully functional pleasure-bot, sexier than a MacBook Air and more seductive than an iPad.
The inspiration for Siri Pro came from the Siri servers currently in operation. Over 65% of the questions and commands put to Siri by iPhone 4S owners indicate the user’s desire for a deeper bond. Top interactions include: “Will you marry me,” “Can I buy you a drink” and “I want to have your robotic children.”
“When we say we listen to our customers, we’re not kidding around,” says Apple worldwide marketing chief Phil Schiller.
Siri Pro is available at the Apple Store for $999 (32GB) and $1,299 (64GB). Alternate personalities —Streetwalker, Catholic Schoolgirl, Nurse —are available via the App Store for $9.99. Aluminized lingerie is sold separately.

My sister got one of these as an upgrade being the xe beats version. She said it was pretty similar to her desire and stuck the sensation xe on eBay and got £300. Not saying she knows much about phones though.

I have the Sensation XE if you want to use it to play music you have to use the Beats ear phones supplied as you cant switch off the preset EQ which means the music listened to through any other head phones is very poor quality, this is fine if you like this style or dont lose/break them but i have found they dont fit very well and fall out of my ear very couple of minutes despite trying all the different size inserts and i cant change to a different style that dont fall out
other than that the phone is ok but coming from a phone with a slide out keyboard i find this touch screen only phone isn't very good for lots of text messages or typing long emails unlike the previous 5 various handsets which all had slide or flip keyboards.

I've tried the skull candy in ear phones which are the same design as the beats ones and I couldn't get on with them either. Kept falling out of my ears, went back to some £10 Sony ones which fit perfectly.

I've been messing with the phone today and found the earphones are crap, dispite trying all the sizes - not sure what type of ears they were designed for lol
I use them mainly for making calls as i don't like having the handset near my head, as well as finding I can hear the person better that way.
