One for you 'e-bayers'
Just sold a car to a Polish bloke with a zero feedback
He states that he is coming over with cash in May to collect the car - along with several others on a transporter
Now I've seen a few adverts where they state "no zero feedbackers to bid" but what are the pitfalls if he is coming over with cash in hand to take it away

I sold my BMW M5 to a guy on ebay who came over from Amsterdam. He paid a deposit by Paypal and I picked him up from the airport and he got a ferry home with the car. Cars are much cheaper in the UK so the guy has made a business out of it and re-shells or breaks the cars he gets.

My mum sold a mobility scooter on Ebay on behalf of a charity she works for, a polish guy bought it and payed with paypal, they eventually collected it about a month later, were going round the country picking loads up to take back to poland, no issues at all apart from waiting for someone to collect

The £ is on it's @rse at the moment when compared to the european currencies, when you add this to the fact that our second-hand car market isn't to clever either, it means it makes sense for european car dealers to buy up UK motors and take them back home. I'd be very surprised if you have a problem with the transaction
We have three Polish guys working on the shop floor at work, talk about bloody hard workers
Plus, if it wasn't for them, our company 6-a-side football team would be even sh!tter than it already is

He siad he hasn't got a PayPal account to pay a deposit - but if he turns up with cash, so long as its stirling, then i can't lose (as it says above)
There should also be no come back for all the little niggles the car has - he can't exactly bring it back.....?

Sold a few to the Polskis - they're usually ok & buy a couple at a time but they will try & chip some off the price..
They usually drive a long way & turn up about 10pm & get upset if the car isn't taxed but generally they're good for their word.

They will be no tax on this in May - but i wouldn't have thought it a problem if its going to Poland
A Polish bloke bought some wheels off my uncle a while ago. He came over in a transit which was full to the roof of wheels. He said he could make 4 times as much in Poland for them - its probably the same with cars then i suppose.

I would at least try to get a deposit. If he wants it, he wont mind paying it.
When he does turn up just make sure ALL the notes are real as it used to be commen to mix in a couple of hundred fake ones in
