Angry E-Bay scumbag

placed a Bid on E-bay for a mobile phone (2 weeks ago now) for my son and won, paid the amount £47.50 inc pp via Paypal straight away, still haven't received the phone, sent loads of e-mails requesting conformation of posting, and got nothing, then last wednesday got a mail saying son been ill will send phone out today, it's now Monday and still no phone.
Filed a report with e-bay, but how and what happens now i don't know ??does anyone?? will i get my money back from paypal or what???

Oh and the person's id is angeldust_25uk so don't trade with this person

Oh I see you've already left them negative feedback.

They might make you wait even longer for the item now..........

you need to see the neg feed back posts on here...how is leaving that feedback gonna get u your phone? if it was a shop and you expected to get your product would you stand outside and slag them off? it may help you feel better and you may be right but its not very clever.

T

ps- hope his kids not really sick.

how is leaving that feedback gonna get u your phone?
it prob won't, but would you send money to someone who doesn't live up to there end of the deal ????? no thought not

if it was a shop and you expected to get your product would you stand outside and slag them off?
No, cos i would go in there and get it, but seeing as i haven't a clue where this person lives apart from its in Ipswich i cant

it may help you feel better and you may be right but its not very clever.
Why ? as said above it may stop the next perosn from being ripped off, that's the point of e-bay isn't it to let others know so they can decide whether or not to trade with this person.

i think the point is that you may have been ale to resolve the situation given a little more time. this guy *had* a 100% +ve feedback record; why would he suddenly decide to rip you off for the value of a 'phone? Now that you have neg'd him, he doesn't have much incentive to complete his end of the deal.

And mine too.........

Negative feedback is the very LAST resort for me. I received some last week from an ebay new user because I took a week to sent him a top I sold him. I even emailed him before he won to say there'd be slight delay

I left him relevant feedback.

Ok PC how long do i need to wait then 30 days 60 days 90 days.........

Then why hasn't the phone been sent ?
Why hasn't my e-mails been answered then ?

i've brought 16 items of e-bay now and paid for them straight away and have been sent the goods within 7 days, were now into he 15th day and iv'e had jack sh!te from this person, bar 1 mail saying phone in post, so i asked for proof of posting so i can track it..... did that turn up, no did it ****, gave them enough warnings to post before leaving negative feedback.

15 days?
Impatience....

Its been more than that for transactions ive bought and sold for before- i think the key thing is he had 100% feedback before, and he also mailed you with a valid reason for delay and said it had been sent.
You can leave feedback at any time- methinks you might have been a little quick to leave it. Howmuch of a fool will you feel if it turns up this afternoon or tomorrow morning...

the negative feedback was a bit hasty methinks , i've dealt on ebay quite a bit and some people are slow sometimes , he had 100% positive feedback as was said earlier so i echo the feeling , why rip you off for £40 odd quid . it doesn't seem worth it !!

i would be inclined to wait maybe 3 or 4 weeks, but that's just me. it's a PITA having to wait, but i don't see that you have acheived much by leaving neg feedback at this point, particularly as he had given you a plausible reason for the delay. maybe you should have asked to see the doctor's note?

Unhappy

The guy had an umblemished record, i have not and would pay £47.50 to clear it, he must be telling the truth and it probably wont help your cause by ruffling his feathers, i understand you are annoyed and so would i be but i give people up to 4 weeks before the negative goes out.

subtle feedback is advised- having been warned by ebay for leaving feedback calling someone a 'penile wart' and having feedback subsequently removed....

You seem lucky to have only been waiting 2 weeks. Think of all us people who are in the indiglo group buy on guages - almost 6months!!!
