Default Please explain e-bay and a £122 P900 to a bidding novice!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=3082371633

Never used e-bay as I dont trust it - particularly as this SO looks 'too good to be true'?

What's the catch/con. You surely cant sell these for £122?

Anyone with more knowledge/experience than me (who has zero on e-bay!).

Thanks, D.

You are bidding for the chance to get the phone or other phones for a mere £20. It simple, you pay what you pay to me, then an extra £20, and then you have the phone! No refunds will be given. Phones are 100% in working condition, up to customer to read through information themselve

you're not bidding for the phone!

Thanks a lot!

The sad thing is, these cons only continue in one form or another because there are enough stupid / guillable people in the world to fall for them.
My sister being one of them.

Do people not read the decription? As soon as I read Diesels post I headed straight for the bottom of the popst to look like a clause like this. Isn't it just commnon sense to read/reasearch what you are buying first?

ebay gets greif over this but in reality its like moaning to the owner of a field where a car boot sae is held.

pp should be sensible when they buy 2nd hand, simple as that- ebay/carboot/chav in a petrol station, its all the same.

And it seems you cant leven eave feedback warning others (who arent half as super clever as wily Scoobynetters) that this is a con. No woner I was always wary of e-bay. What a racket - some poor bugger just got stung as the bid is now closed...

Tiggs if it ruins the farmers reputation or if he welcomes con artists with open arms I'd stamp on his turnips! Also goods were new (not used) and I'm now the wiser!
