Catholic Church - FFS sort yourselves out!
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...es-688261.html
The Catholic Church in Rome made the extraordinary admission yesterday that it is aware priests from at least 23 countries have been sexually abusing nuns.
Most of the abuse has occurred in Africa, where priests vowed to celibacy, who previously sought out prostitutes, have preyed on nuns to avoid contracting the Aids virus.
Confidential Vatican reports obtained by the National Catholic Reporter, a weekly magazine in the US, have revealed that members of the Catholic clergy have been exploiting their financial and spiritual authority to gain sexual favours from nuns, particularly those from the Third World who are more likely to be culturally conditioned to be subservient to men.
More so called 'celibate' Priests using their status to abuse people. I hope 'Rome' does something about this!

The Catholic church has to change to allow priests to marry. The number of priests are diminishing and the ones that join tend to do so for the wrong reasons and still have secret lives.
On the lighter side, who can blame them?

The Church must realise that the example it sets is paramount and although one cannot necessarily prevent such occurrences from happening due to character weakness etc., when it does happen then swift action should be taken to defrock priests who are guilty of such actions. Instead of trying to hide it all, the Church should be seen to be ensuring that the guilty ones are no longer in a position to continue with such behaviour.
Covering up this sort of thing and effectively allowing it to continue undermines the Church's authority and will eventually lead to its demise.

god made adam and eve, its simple if priest were aloud to get married none of this sick acts would happen. and its becoming too common. its like there living in prison thats why they get disillusioned and commit sick acts.
Sex is very important look what happens to us when we haven’t had sex for a few weeks, I become agitated and very short fused. Some of these priests don’t have sex for endless years so you can imagine how they feel when they even walk down the high road on hot summer’s day lol. The church needs to look at this and allow them to get married so they can at least be more balanced.
