Need some ideas, work stuff...
Going to Atlanta to meet with my staff, One Aussie and one American who work for me in Perth and Greenville US, we manage SQL Server and Oracle databases.
We ave a week to meet up and come up with some plans, have loads to discuss, just after some ideas of how to make it interesting, going to go and see some drag racing, perhaps the Baseball, few decent meals and few drinks but am after ideas of how to keep the work side interesting and I am sure there are some good ideas that don't involve Powerpoint !
No ideas involving titty bars please

Decent shooting range, or contact local police, see if you can go out on patrol (as an observer) lot of US police forces do this. Ideally you make a donation to the local police benevolent fund.

My brother always goes shooting when in the US, so that could be fun, but it depends, it's not everyones cup of tea.
As I don't know what type of work you do, it's hard for me to think of work related fun activities.

15 minute discussion about the merits of grid computing, another fifteen minutes extolling the virtues of ASM storage, another fifteen minutes preaching the gospel according to RAC, then another 15 minutes on how SQL server is still as **** as it was when it was version 7 then head to the bar / club for 4 days and 23 hours of drink, drugs and wild women!!!!

I am trying to keep the drinking to sensible limits these days having seen the state we got in last week as a team outing turned into mega binge drinking, glad I was driving, not much got done the following day it has to be said.
