Her indoors is a HP fangirl so I took her for a treat this afternoon. I was really surprised by the number lads/groups of lads there. I expected all teenage girls!

Funny enough I was always pretty much anti Harry Potter, my sister convinced me to read the books and I thought they were a bloody good read, I've read them all now and watched all the films, I'll just wait for this to come out on DVD till I watch it though.

Never read the books or watched the films. Why would I want to line the pockets of J.K Rowling or a handful of mediocre actors for this derivative guff?

Do you make all your judgements second hand?

Or should I say pre-judgements.

You could be a great restaurant critic - you wouldn't even need to go to the restaurants!

I don't go to restaurants. I'm not a fully fledged member of the bourgeois ATM.

No cinema, no restaurants.

Sounds like you would be happiest on the Gulag

How do you know about the the actors' ability if you have never watched it?

We went to see the first HP film. We enjoyed the film but it was spoiled a bit by the volume being turned up to rodiculous levels. I asked about it and they said it was so loud purely for the children and they were unable to turn it down.

Even the elderly were turning their hearing aids down!
