So I am now on my third scoob and been a member of this forum on and off, under various names, since about 2008.
I was just wondering who has been a member since around this time? Interested to see if there are many folk left from back in the day?
Also, since I am 35 now, am I considered a mature subaru driver? Lol how many guys with inorezas on here are over 35? Do not be shy ☺️
I been on here since 2009. On my 3rd impreza classic, bug then current blob (with a few other cars inbetween but i always come back) im 36 but i know of a few owners with a good few years on me
I joined in 2007 but its not often i post, Got my first Scooby in 2006 a 1996 wrx, had to sell it when in 2011 when my commute became 60 a day was to much for me in fuel, so in march when i sold my busa and decided to buy one as a second car, black 2003 uk sti forged and running 410bhp and been enjoying spending on it since
Joined 2008 after lurking for a couple of years. 2004 widetrack STI sold it for 2009 RS then E92 M3, chased the thrill of the Scooby and then decided to get it got to go back.

Then back to a hawkeye... Didn't like the new shape but its grown on me.

Think once you've had a Scooby there's always a place in the heart for them no matter what other road users think of them.
Ha ha thbks guys - I really don't feel as old now!
On a serious note - do you give a toss about the boy racer/ chav image impreza have? Do you give it any consideration at all?
What makes you still want to own inprezas over other cars?
Not at all. The impreza stood out among a sea of BMWs, Mercs, and VAG stuff in the work car park. I get a few comments along the lines of "when are you going to get a grown up car" and "I bet that doesn't do many miles per gallon". But I get more people asking about how it drives and if I work on it myself.
I know about the lairy reputation so I drive very politely (especially in town) and always wave.
