Question Any Bee-Keepers?

Anyone on here an amateur bee keeper?

I've heard it has become a kind of 'in thing' at the moment to keep bees in your garden especially as wild bees are being decimated for various reasons.

I didn't realise there was so much to keeping bees until a read Norman Mailers 'The Castle in the Forest'....

Get a girlfriend mate and get your nuts in. Do the the wild thing rather than worrying about wild bees. Perhaps then you'd be less frustrated and not come on here spouting such drivel all the time. IMHO.

It's no worse than most of the other sh1te posted on here though. In fact, some of the egotistical bollox that's generally being touted makes this a refreshing change.

Nothing wrong with bee keeping itself mate but poor Tony is over 30 years old lives in a little flat on his own and doesn't have a girlfriend.Things are so bad he admits he has two persona, a real one and then an internet one through which he lives his fantasies. Having a bee keeping hobby is hardly going to help him lose his virginity is it?

We had them move in over the summer, under the front door so that was my "Beekeeping" experience, annoying buzzing, stingy little squatters !

Lot of people taking bee-keeping up now. I think it is an enjoyable hobby from what people tell me and of course there is an added bonus.

If it helps to maintain the bee population it can only be a good thing.
