Who's got it wrong?

It’s interesting; I have argued for sometime that, paradoxically and ironically the Green movement will have to come to the “George Bush” position on the environment (often seen as the nemesis of the Green movement)
Bush’s view was/is that only thru economic and technological advance, will any perceived threats to Earth and the human existence on it, be challenged.
The traditional Green position of “back to the sixties, with warm beer and sandals” is untenable really

On the flip side, whilst I don't fully agree with greenie ideology, I am greatful that they raised awareness of the damage industry was doing to the environment.

Just switched off - they are still accepting unchallenged throughout the notion of "climate change" and yet miss the irony of how they were wrong on all the other stuff but they're right about that one. *sigh*

Did you also notice the in-build bias in the "documentary", with things like "climate scientists versus skeptics" being said - implying that skeptics didn't know what they were talking about but the warmists were all jolly clever experts
Also, it was quite funny in the debate listening to them all saying the word "pragmatic" as often as they could - it must be the latest trendy thing to believe in

Well, as expected, the show has already caused a stir amongst the pro-environmentalists community. You only have to google the show to see how many hits it brings up in the past 24 hours, much like Channel4 last show on this issue, The Great Global Warming Swindle.

They have selected a suitable cause to chase, regardless of fact and the rubbish which has been associated with their policies. The biggest worry is what sort of lengths are they prepared to go to in order to get their paranoia accepted.
