I wonder when the gov will realise all they have to do is borrow a few tanks, paint Swastikas on them and drive through Paris.....all strikes will be offer within the day.

It's true that we take it up the rear end ... after all we are being told we must work until 66!!!!!
But, why is it that this revolting ability didn't rear its head in WW2? They just laid down and took it!
Maybe, as said above, wheel some German Tanks down the streets of Paris - would soon get them back to work .................... it just wouldn't happen here - are we soft?

Whatever age they retire, they still have to have paid their version of National Insurance for 40 years to get a full pension. That is why they are up in arms about the higher pensionable age.
I have to agree that they are not backward in standing up for their rights.
