When will we stand up and punish these b4stards .... and I mean REALLY punish!!

We read that due to cutbacks in the legal system these crimes will go totally unpunished!

Pikies are untouchable. The police ain't brave enough and in some ways who can blame them given the nany state we live in.

Spared sentences even though they have over 50 previous convictions? Does not say how many times previously they have served time, nor why the perfect labour prison and criminal system has failed them SO badly that they continue to offend.

Sorry I have lost the point you were making.........

The point, my dear chap, is that the Tories ... given the chance ... failed to ensure that this criminal was banged up.

hate to break it to ya mate but in prison atm its only 10 hour lock down plus you get 2 hours gym each day a playstation 3 with games to play and a dvd every night to take to ya cell. You even get 2 dvd's on a friday and saturday to reward good behaviour.

The politicians don't put people in jail the judiciary do.

My point old boy is that given repeated chances, Labour did no better if you insist on saying it's political parties that pass sentence on crims.

Once again, ignore the past, ignore the causes, and just focus in blame in the moment. The ridiculous judicial situation we find ourselves in took years to create.... But of course it was all left at the end of the last Tory reign, and just not acted on for 13 years.

I agree with what you say. People who are prepared to do this kind of thieving, or any kind in fact, should be hammered for it and be in no doubt that it is just not worth the risk because they will get an unpleasant time in prison when they are caught.

It is a big mistake to avoid sending criminals to prison and also they should find that life in prison is by no means something to look forward to.

Set them onto hard labour in the quarries etc. as used to happen and remove all the TV and games etc. as well as the other comforts which they don't deserve. They would soon begin to see it our way!

The last Governments Policy was to positively discriminate on Travellers. So the old Bill wont touch them.
