Default Boy Cheerleaders

Good I thought. Obviously edited to tug at your heartstrings a bit, but very positive and showed some Brits who haven't had the easiest start in life in a very good light.

Ah yes, having consulted an online "urban" dictionary it appears that - and I quote:

Ghey - Usurping the traditional term GAY to take the homosexual meaning out and leaving in the lame, "That's so gay it's G-H-E-Y!"

A derivation of gay meaning lame. meant to be non-offensive to individuals of a homosexual persuasion.

But I would agree with this: since verbally, the new spelling is virtually unnoticeable, this rationale is rendered a waste of time, but as mentioned, it serves its purpose in the mind of the homophobe-in-denial.

Yes, if I was gay I can't imagine I would be less offended by the spelling! I take it gay and lame are now interchangeable to the younger generation?

That makes no sense to me though. If a song/movie/game etc is labeled ghey. what has that got to do with being a homophobe-in-denial? Also if anyone thinks the two words are "virtually unnoticeable" then they are a fvuking retard.

As time goes on, words change their meanings, evolution of language if you like and it has being going on for hundreds of years.

"Gay" in the school playground according to my kids or "Ghey" if you like now means the same thing as lame - eg rubbish. Yes, language evolves but if say you are gay and you hear someone referring to their car being gay because it is so crap then I imagine you would be offended.

they also get to lift them up in the air and the girls sit on their hands / fingers

but the idea of a boy being a cheerleader is still ghey though but it does have it's plus points
