Oops, who proof read this?
There is a story in the Daily Mail that has either missed being proof read, or the faux pas was spotted but not corrected.

I think it is lucky that our police don't have firearms if they are so keen to point a weapon at someone and "accidentally" discharge it. They seem to love waving tasers about!
