A diabolical decision from that posing Mexican ref - never a straight red . Would not have changed the result though .

On Friday at work all the Aussies were being cocky about winning the World Cup, let alone beating Germany. Can't wait to go into work on Tuesday and seeing them with their heads in their hands.

They will 'retaliate' by saying 'well England's performance was sh1te too'.

Cool

Young team, untested, knock 4 in against a low grade team.

Team with mountains of experience, manage a scabby 1-1 draw against nation of similar standing.

Same old story

They would have a point too!

If you don't spend time orchestrating more attacks on the opponents goal, you won't score very much!

apparently the poor performance (and low scoring) of teams is being blamed on the new FIFA ball

FIFA offered it to all domestic leagues -- only one major European league took FIFA up on this offer, and have used it the whole domestic season

which one - guess?
