40 was my most challenging time .... you look back and then forward .... you promise to make the most of the years to 50, because you realise that the years from 30-40 went without great drama or events ......
Then 50 happens and you are in the same place .... only now your teeth are falling out, your back has gone and you pee in the middle of the night - the legs ache and everything is taken a bit slower.
You start liking the mens range in M&S and start thinking that everyone are driving like absolute idiots.
My 60, 70 and 80 were just numbers .... except when you pee in the middle of the night you haven't woken up
My advice? Forget you are 40 and go for it .......... pick up the pieces at 50!

.......and i have youthful looks TX...
but, not as much as my otherhalf, she's 32 and occassionally gets asked for ID when buying cigarettes or alcohol..

I got asked for ID last month made me chuckle as i am 36 this year must of been that clean shave i had
