HTC touch pro 2 is the best phone I have ever used. Call quality is on par with a home phone and if you put the phone on speaker call quality is just as good. I have a 16gig memory card in mine so I have loads of albums, films and games. I even have mine running ps1 games and have about 10 of them on the phone

The nokia n97 has touch screen and a qwerty keypad. Also a stylus. Im also using it to reply to this thread due to lap top not working... So all in all not a bad phone. The nokia 5800 xpress also has a stylus and is quiet a good little device

There is a Nokia with a stylus....but I can't help but think at some point it'll get lost.
If you are not bothered by camera, or media....what did you want to do with the stylus?

A Nokia 5800 has a stylus, its what i currently use, they are a great phone for the money and are a lot cheaper than the HTC phones. The stylus is held firmly into the phone so you wouldn`t lose it by it accidentally sliding out.

Nokia 5530 - one of their best kept secrets. The same as the 5800 but without GPS or 3G (perfect if you don't have a data tariff) - but better build quality, smaller, and half the price! Dip yer boots!

Touch screen stylus phones are becoming outdated. Along with windows mobile infact. Touch screen are now mostly made to be operated with fingers and thumbs.
Ever since the iPhone came out, ease of use has been manufacturers main goal when desgning phones.
What reason do you want a stylus for anyway?
Another downside to stylus phoes is they can be operated by any form of pressure on the screen, so it can do things in your pocket, where as most modern touch screen phones that are finger or thumb operated are designed to take input from nerve endings, so stylus' do not work with them.

Thanks for the suggestions. Touchscreens without a stylus i find hard to use accurately, big clumsy fingers pressing the wrong button.

Are the 'virtual' qwerty keyboards on touchscreen phones any good? I'm sick of texting on a number pad so want a proper keyboard on my next phone. Nokia 5800 or 5230 look good but are they easy to enter text into, or would I be better off with a physical keyboard?

Thats exactly what i'm looking for on my next phone. I tried a few physical keyboards and the keys are just a little small, although given time i might get used to it. I tried a few virtual ones and they were pretty good, again its the size. (hence the question about a stylus)

Ive never used the sylus with mine, the large qwerty keyboard is excellent with good sized keys.

That isn`t the case with a Nokia 5800, the screen switches itself off when its not in use, on the side of the phone is a tension release button which you flick to activate the screen and it has enough resistance so it can`t be accidentally activated. Most touch screen phones probably have a similar feature so nothing will happen whilst its in your pocket.

p.s. I'm not trying to say i told you so, if it works for you then great, but i'm just giving my advice.
