PO re-direction service........
According to my pal who works behind the counter the PO have recently stopped the re-direction concession. So if you want to forward an unopened letter you have to pay for postage.
Nuisance for me as I am always forwarding mail to my daughter who is in temporary accommodation whilst at uni.
Not exactly well publicised
Did you know this?

Well my friends sh*t out of luck then; since he moved out and not bothered to change his address for his bank/phone/insurance etc. I guess I'll be 'retun to sender'ing a lot!

Sorry peeps - I was WRONG. PO chap gave me duff information
I checked with Royal Mail and it is still working. But they did say not to obscure the original address with a new label which I usually do.
