Barking dog.
Neighbour hasn't been home since Friday morning. His dog, a black lab, has been left in the conservatory/garden since then. Earlier this evening I could see an empty water bowl, and no sign of food ( not to say there isn't any I'm just looking through the open door )
The dog has now been barking continuously for 3 hours. Do you think it's OK? I don't have an experience with dogs. Is this a good owner? Seems a long time to leave a dog?

To keep the dog quiet you need a Remington 700 rifle.
First call the police to rescue the dog and then shoot the **** owner with the 700 when it gets back.
job done

yup, if he has had no one going there to feed the dog then he firstly doesn't deserve to have any animals and secondly call the RSPCA & Police to save the poor dog.

Agreed its not right for the dog to be left like that, but something could have happened to the owner, like he went to work friday morning, and was involved in a serious road accident and could by lying in hospital
Unless you know he has gone away deliberately

He may have had an accident of some kind, if not that is very irresponsible and cruel. I would try to give the dog some water and food and also report the matter to the RSPCA.

Still here. The Remington has been looked away again.
Went round on knocked on the front door. No answer, I knew there wouldn't be but it did what wanted. Shut the dog up, never heard a thing for the rest of the night.
Saw neighbour Sunday am, and asked him what he was playing at. Shrugged his shoulder and said he was out with his new girlfriend and walked off. I told him if he does it again, I'm calling the RSPCA. Never even looked back. He's an arrogant tosser.
