Default blackberry help..

both myself & my OH have blackberrys 'ocked' on Orange.

I have just phoned Orange for an unlock code - £20 and a 14 day turn around. I need to have it unlocked by next Monday

Anyone know where I can get this unlock, which is fast and reliable???

Ta

Have a look on Crackberry.com

What are you unlocking them for? Another dataplan on another network or something?

Blackberry hound?
One of the handsets needs to go to the US next week. We have a us sim card from a trip last year, and wanted to make use of that again (24p/min rather than £1.10/per min!!)

Both are locked to Orange, and their turnaround time is pants.. but we might have solved it by having an old handset we can use.. will have to wait until tonight to find out for sure though..

but would still like to get one of them unlocked as it's handy

It seems to be the day for things going wrong.. my laptop is dying and has to go to laptop hospital tomorrow.. it was supposed to be going stateside with the blackberry

Aaah that kinda makes sense then.
I went to Walmart and picked up a $30 phone with $15 of credit on it and used that lol.

I keep the Berry on, but turn the GSM side of it off, so just using the WiFi and UMA side of things. That way I keep all my data flowing for freeeee (as long as you have WiFi to use)

unlocking them is ok I guess, but will only be usable for calls. So would rather use an old handset and keep the berry safe.

If any of that makes sense?
