Aeroplane food ?
I'm flying with Monarch to Egypt in a couple of weeks and was wondering if we will get food on the plane ? Its a 5 and a half hour flight, the kids are so excited about the plane more than the holiday

You can buy some overly expensive food: Monarch Airlines | Food & Drink | download latest menu and drink

Most things with Monarch are extras, inc water. Although some flights have a source to refil bottles from.
Look forward to the holiday not the flight mate. I would not fly further than France/Spain with them anymore.

It will be down to whether your mate has paid for them or not. I allways knock mine off, saves around £15 pp. Having said that I have had them a couple of times despite knocking meals the off. Either way It will most likely be sh1te anyway.

I used to be ok with food on planes, but over the years it seems to be less and less desirable.
Rice, cous cous, peppers etc. Not that its terrible, but not everyones cuppa tea.
Missus never eats on planes.

Not the last time I flew with them, the soggy paninii thing they served on an easrly morning flight to LHR was not fit for human consumption. Ba are a disgrace...
Finnair has been the best food & service I've experienced so far.

The food will be bad, we payed extra for food on a Thompson flight recently, about £10 each, wish I hadn't bothered was inedible for the most part. They usually sell sandwiches on the plane which are cheaper and taste better

If it was actually inedible they wouldnt be able to serve it
The only compliant iv ever had is that the portions are small ( but lets face it ,enough)
I must have always been hungry or a complete pikey

The best food we used to upload was from Singapore. We always looked forward to staging through there. Some places produced stuff that was more inedible than hospital food though!
