Trilogies
Watched all The Bourne Trilogy over the last three saturdays and what a series. (Might have to go and read the books now)
Third one was the pick of the bunch for me, rare to find a sequel of a sequel better than the first two. In fact, couldn't think of any, anyone got one?

Got to agree there mate, i did hear a rumour they were making a 4th
but not sure how true that was as it was a while ago.
Pirates of the Carribien was equally as good, and The Matrix
And of course Star Wars although i suppose thats not a trilogy anymore

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.
Die Hard With a Vengance is up there with the original
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi was let down by the Ewoks, but is possibly only just better than Empire
The Matrix was way better the Reloaded and Revolutions, which seemed rushed and lacking the depth of the first
POTC 3 was dire
Die Hard With a Vengance is up there with the original
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Pirates III was pants I thought, still don't understand it
Got to disagree on Star Wars as well, the first one (ep 4) is the daddy.
Die Hard is a not bad call, I thought 3 was the poorest though, in order - 1, 4, 2, 3 (yippee kaiya *****)
Never seen an Indiana Jones all the way through.

mm its a tough one, i think the lotr trilogy got better as it went
I think the 2nd Bourne was the pick of the bunch
Aliens, better than Alien? Maybe
the good, bad and ugly, was better than Fistfull and for a few dollars more

I've heard that rumour about Bourne 4 as well. It would be a real shame to ruin what is a fantastic trilogy with some rubbish plot just done to cash in on the success of the previous films (like most sequels are... Terminator, should have stopped after the 2nd one, Star Wars... the 'original' trilogy always will be the best. Waynes World...

Aliens wasn't better, just different. Like T2 wasn't better than T1. A bigger budget and more flashy action doesn't always outweigh the quality of classics like Scott's Alien or Cameron's first Terminator movie.

Alien was defo a more edge-of-your-seat film, but i prefer the whole army thing with Aliens.
Prefferred T2 to T1 as well, but that was prolly as i seen it before the first one. Sad i know.
DH3 was best out that bunch for me too and Matrix2 was better to me as well.
All Bournes are fantastic, so can't choose one.
Will NEVER watch Predator too much. Second one was ok, along with the AVP ones, though i think they could have made them MUCH better.
