For all you Blackberry Storm users...... OS update....
By all accounts so far, turning the Storm into something close to what it should have been at launch.....

Might be tempted now

Well I'm now tempted. I know that storm 2 could be later this year but the main improvement will be wil-fi.
Now I'm currently writing this on my iPod touch from the back garden so I don't know whether I need another device with that type of connectivity.
I don't want an iPhone either.
Choices choices. All I do know is that my current phone is starting to die so I will be forced to upgrade soon anyway.
But this new os does look like of transforms the phone into something like it should have been at launch.

A new impressive exciting OS upgrade..... Surely not. Only iPhone's get such things surely lol
The Storm is by far my least favorite BB, but its always nice to see it heading in the right direction, and improving.

That's crazy talk, if you're getting along with the iPod why not add a phone and GPS to it.

Simple really. I've already paid alot of money for my touch. I'm not going to pay circa £200 for something I already have and a MUCH higher monthly bill.

Presto, Blackberry storm working on a bog standard o2 contract
Still lack of WiFi is a shockingly blatant intentional omission, done to force users to use the networks 3G/2G service (for a fee )

Ali, I have to agree, but I think I understand.
BB's for a long time have NOT been a private user thing, so have not been developed that way. I think the next generation are proof of that coming FULLY loaded.
What excuse did Apple have for not putting 3G on the first iPhone
Good plan there though, how much did the berry cost you alone ?
555 get the berry man, you know it makes sense lol
