Default MEDION satnav.

One of my lads has bought a Medion PNA315 satnav in Holland, where he works.

He's home for a break this week, and found that it doesn't have UK maps, nor will it work in English, despite Medion telling him it would, or could be made to do so, (they SAID they'd send him an upgrade, free),when he bought it.
Now they want £79 for the maps and the upgrade.

By the time he pays that, he's spent more than a decent TomTom.

Anyone know of any upgrade sites, or tricks to get it to work in English, at least?

TIA

Tell him to throw it in the bin .... utter tripe.

Just go out and buy a Tom Tom for £80.

Not sure if it was the Medion PNA315, but the Medion that was sold a few months ago for £99 had a much better review than the cheapo TomTom's amongst other 'big brand' makes in Which? magazine.
