hey people,

im off to amsterdam friday for a lads weekend.

we have random drug tests at work and i wouldnt put it past my employer to give me one when i get back as they knwo im going.

i wont be smoking when im out there but could i get it in my system from passive smoking enough to fail a drugs test?

also is it legal to bring back...erm "adult" dvds?

any tips, places to avoid etc for when im there?

Its worse than most. We were skanked seven Euros for a punnet of strawberries last April. Its not uncommon for shops to sell goods to tourists at vastly differing prices. The old fella before us was charged by the kilo, but she made up a lumpsum price for my girlfriend who was too embarrassed to decline...

Expect a long queue!

Last time I was there the queue stretched right along the road and around the corner. We were on a bit of a time limit (the bars were calling )so we had to give it a miss as the wait was too long.

oh fek. Im only there for a day. 9-5 the liner gets in and leaves that same afternoon so only have a few hours.... Bugger

I would suggest to make it your first place to visit. Assess the size of the queue and make you mind up then. It might be a smaller queue on the day you go, you never know your luck.

I was there in July, so it was generally busier all over.

hahahh and avoid buying the best pre-rolled in the grasshopper!! one of our guys was monged out before we'd even checked into the hotel!!!! hahahaha

Been twice now and its a ....king ****hole. Every where you go even the hotels smell of dope.Full of drug pushers....not for me but you have to go and see for yourself.give the DVDs a miss chances are when you get them home they will not what you expected as my mate found out
