I borrowed mine off a mate. My dog is ready for a bed now, but seems to be quite content in his crate. I don't shut the door anymore and thought he would not bother with it. But it seems to be his space, when the Cats aren't in there

Sorry, no help whatsoever

Pets at Home do the mesh collapsable ones, which is what we have for ours.

Savic ones

I would say make sure they are on sale when you buy. Paid 90 for the first one, and 60 for the second lol

What size do you need ?
I will say the Savic ones are well built and well finished. You tend to find that some of the cheaper ones have a very rough finish to them

Thumbs up

Worth looking in local papers etc for a clean second hand one. Or note on your vet's notice board.

A lot of people get one to use to transport and/or train puppies and when this phase is over they are just not wanted and clutter up the attic (the crates, not the puppies ).

£15 to £20 at a guess....

we too have a savic, it is a v large one for our little staffy, quality is as good as we could expect, although she is very docile and not the type of dog to try to escape, so it has never really been put to the test.
