The "Naga Jolokia" is no longer the hottest chilli, that record now goes to the "Dorset Naga".
Chilli sauces can be many times hotter than the actual chilli.
The hottest sauce is "Blairs 16 million reserve". Not really a sauce, its pure Capsaicin crystals measured at 16 million on the Scoville scale. Its chemically impossible to get hotter.
There's loads of websites with hot sauces, here's one of them Hottest Sauces in the World - Scoville Unit - The Hottest Sauce in the World Tabasco is included at the bottom just for a comparison.

If your into chillis and hot sauces, check out this site
I bought a bottle of blairs mega death, rated at 550,000 scovilles, and its great for spicing up large pans of chilli, only need a teaspoon tho to make it really hot
The Scoville Heat Scale for Chilli Peppers and Hot Sauces from ChilliWorld. Compare relative heats all the way to Blair's 6 A.M. - pure capsaicin.

i love spicy foods,
my friend bought me chilli sauce, (forgot the name of it) for xmas., it was classed as the hottest chilli sauce ever
it had a skull keyring with it,
i tried a bit with my dinner one day, the serving was probably the serving of a thumb's fingernail.
the dinner was painful i had to have half and the other half later.
i also forgot that on the small print it said you must dilute the sauce.
how the hell do you dilute it?
oh and btw not touched the sauce since

Chilli mmm
Im actually quite hardened to the stuff, guy brought in daves insanity into work we all tried it neat i was like meh it's warm while the guy who brought it in was in tears after trying.
Oddly it's the weaker chilli's that affect me, the strong stuff hits me like a wave, the old heart races for a bit and that's it, a very nice rush mind.
Good thing though is whenever i make anything spicy it can sit in the fridge safe as no one in their right mind would eat it.
I did have one sauce when i had a burito, really small bottle a kind of beige/light green colour, they really warned me when putting it on, any idea what stuff this could be as i really enjoyed it?

Only need to use a tiny bit of it. Still got a lot of flavour tho.
Also very good for the `I can handle my hot chilli sauce` people. Always good to see what colours they turn!!
