Default That child tax credit payment thread thingy

Anyone remember the thread on here about claiming some unused child tax credit?

Only ask to see if anyone actually got any money? I sent my form when the thread was started but have heard nothing.

Edd,
Just ring em' give your NI number and they can tell you if you gonna get any extra cash!, seems this has spread like wildfire, and them guys at HMRC are ready and waiting to tell you that you already had it via tax code etc..
That's what I did anyway, I got NOTHING extra, but good luck.

Does anyone know who to speak to about this. Spoke to Tax Credits and they say its local tax office. Spoke to local tax office and they don't have a clue what I'm on about.

HM Revenue & Customs: Children's Tax Credit for 2002-03 - are you entitled to a repayment?

Link is here. As long as your claim is filed before the 31st it will get dealt with. Mistakes at this stage should not matter as they can contact you if they need anything else. The important bit is to get the claim filed before the end of this month.

You can still claim for the years after that though. I've just claimed for '06, and had a nice £1700 rebate!

Remember this thread of mine from June last year? Following submission of my application, I only got the previous 3 months paid back to me, so the Treasury kept the other 15 months worth that I was owed so that they could spend it on Bankers' pensions or something
