Do you like the new layout hotmail????


I HATE it.... just tried sending an email from hotmail

I went into google chrome - hotmail - new email....
and i the bloody dialog box is somehow disabled.. i cant type anything in the email apart from email address and subject.. cant select the body


then i went into firefox - send email
the new look hotmail is %&^$£% ****
i can only see the body of the email in 1/5th of my screen...... the rest of the screen is filled up with all sort of crap and i couldnt even scroll it up...

I HATE it with a vengence too!!!

The viewing window isn't big enough ..... it's total utter crap!!

I've looked to see if you can reset to the classic version and cannot see how to do it ....................

Glad I'm not alone in thinking it's pathetic!

Do your e-mails open up in a small box? .... so it's really difficult to read?

theres a big stupid ad on top, then a stupid taskbar.. these takes up more than half the screen so you're left with less than half the screen to read the email..

sending email is worse, in that poor half screen, u've got to enter email add subject etc and u get 2 inches to see what you write

thought so...went on hotmail and did this just to give you an example..

Just a thought but your Hotmail woes may decrease a little if you sort out your browser's toolbars

i got only the 2 main ones now and it does make a difference,,, still i dont like the hotmail look

Not massivley impressed with it, though I've been using the previous beta versions for ages. It seems that you can't shift-click on groups of messages and then delete them, which does my nut in.

It could be better but then again it is MS, so the fact that it works at all is a miracle

I prefer the new layout. The best thing is being able to close an email you are reading without having to scroll to the top to get at the close button.

Having said that I pay for my hotmail and don't get the advertising banner at the top.

So you tried Google Chrome and Firefox . . . erm, perhaps try with IE as its an MS product and will be optimised to work with that browser.
