Question

Dear all,

Torn between Cricket 2002 fro EA Sports and that new Ace Combat 4 game on the PS2 but haven't been reading the PS2 mags recently.

Both look pretty good from screen shots and demos I have seen but are they worth bothering with !?!

Anyone seen any reviews in any mags ?

Advice much appreciated... don't want to spend £40 on some poop !

Cheers,

John

p.s. V Rally 3 looks fairly interesting !!

Ace Combat 4 is very good, although i have completed it within a week, i think you could play through it again and again.

Thumbs up

Played AC4 last night. Good game, not my cup o' tea, but if you like arcadey type flight sims, this one is classy. Although the storyline was a tad irritating

Shaolin/Guys,

It certainly does look blinding !! Are there not many missions or something or did you just play it on the 'easy' setting

I really like flight sims like this where you can get stuck in to some serious shooting etc.... I was really impressed by the backdrops/scenery etc.. Its come a long way from the Amiga/ST days !!

Do you know if there are any other flightey/arcadey sims coming out soon !?

Still need to get MGS2 and the Konami soccer game.. its gonna be an expensive month !!!

Cheers,

John

Wink

I played it on normal and there are 18 missions if i remember rightly..by the way, there are other difficulty levels though!.....but this ISNT a sim, it very arcadey.
Trust me though, you will love it, loads to blow up and the missions are quite varied and the planes are nice.
Ive got about 23 ish Ps2 games and yes this is my newest one but i really love it and i rate it as one of the best for the ps2 at the mo.
And do yourself a favour and get Pro Evolution, if you like footy, then this is the daddy = the best ps2 game imo.
