I used to share a flat with a guy who was as manky as that.
He slept on a bare mattress on the floor amid mounds of pizza boxes and dity plates etc. Cigarette ash was just droppd wherever, and *** ends stubbed ot and left lying on worktops etc.

I wonder if its him?

When I was renting it was common knowledge that no-one, no matter how good the property at the end of the rental agreement, ever saw their deposit!

The tenant wasn't responsible for the avacado suite, that's unforgivable!

I didn't think anyone smoked anymore?

Are you allowed to smoke in a rented property these days?

Don't let me spoil your rant, but it was the Tories who brought in Care in the Community.

And that flat doesn't even make the top ten of all-time greats.

Where do you draw the line?

i,m not the most tidiest person by any means, and my shed is a bombsite,
that said i'm happy with it

the house? well i hate the minimalist look, it should look lived in, and if there

is stuff on the table, or the magazine rack is full, well so be it.

by my standards its ok, my wife, thinks otherwise, and would if she could,

go for the minimalist look

In all the times I've had a tenant leave I've only witheld one deposit. I don't do deposits at all now, just payment in advance. From the landlords point of view the recent law changes for everything are a right pain. We've now got to do an energy report from October, even though I pay all the energy bills, madness.

I don't think they'd bother with it. It's too clean.
