Default Interesting early morning awakening this morning..

Just after I woke up I popped the TV on, and ended up watching something about monster trucks... Dont ask, I had a late night.

Anyway, minutes later the frickin TV turned off.... but the house fell silent too. Hmmm ok, I will go up the shop I though. On walking up the road I see a fire engine fly past, and watch where it goes...

The following is what I saw....

lol **** off Sal !

It was the local electricity sub station exploding.
For safety EDF turned off a large part of SE London, going right out to Bromley etc.

Gave me a good long walk with the dog and camera, followed by a trip to the airshow.

I would imagine so.
Areas known to be affected were...
Forest Hill, Sydenham, Catford, Downham, Bellingham, Grove Park, and the outskirts of Bromley. As well as Anerley, Penge and Selhurst.

All back on now as far as I know
