Helicopter 0 - Lawnmower 0 Slide -1
Bu**er,
Thought id have a good day today, and mow the lawn,
bad move, my aging Mountfield, decided that 7 years and 2 transplants later that today was the day it was off to lawnmower heaven.
So while i,m sitting there, surveying the half mown lawn, i thought i,d buzz my Heli round the garden.
It was my nippers, but he lost any interest in it ages ago.
Now its not exactly svelt, and has the distinct lack of any potentiometers in the RC unit, so the power is in steps as opposed to smooth,
(thats what happens when you buy a cheap heli from fleabay
(still it kept him happy)
no probs i thought as i span it around the garden, until it decided it was going to kiss the slide
the blades went southbound,
no probs i thought , new blades on fleabay.
erm no, ive mullahed the headstock complete, and snapped the mount off with the blade
hey, nothing like doing a job well
So its cost me £100 for a new mower and i need a new heli
been looking at a lama V4 , should be a laugh for buzzing round the house
mind you thats looking the best part of £70
oh well
theres still sunday to go

did exactly the same thing at christmas, bought two cheapy amazon helicopters...one for me and one for my girlfriend. Charged one of them up and had a go. Not bad flew quite well.Then let my G/F have a go and she spanked it into the ceiling, then the floor, then the ceiling, then the kitchen cupboards etc...fooked.
So told her that the helicopter was her one..Mine is still in the box

Poor Lawnmower RIP 
On the bright side, Makro are doing a Power Devil Petrol Lawn mower for £75+vat...Plastic deck (no rust ) OHV 3.5hp engine, only down side is you have to push it
