Can the "LG Viewty Prada" phone be unlocked?

Was thinking of buying this from someone who has upgraded to it, they are on Virgin and I am T-mobile. Can the phone be unlocked to take my sim?

Yes, although T-mobile and Virgin are normally compatibale anyway.

Cool, is it one of these dodgy phone shops in East london to do it then?

Your right about T-mobile and Virgin though but not all the time, the last phone I got didnt work with my Sim

I normally go to markets/boot sales, they are a bit cheaper.
Is it actually the Prada phone? Cos I thought the Viewty was the new one, and they are not the same. I've got the Viewty, aka KU990.

Yeah its the Prada type one, not sure of the difference though.

The Prada one is the older Viewty. So that can 100 percent be unlocked.
The Willow Farm boot sale is on in Rainham on sunday, on the old A13. Dagenham market. Expect to pay a tenner, or less if you haggle.
