all i done to mine was located the horn at the front of the motor and disconnected the connectors gave all the points a clean and then refitted them and put some insulating tape round the connectors,(it gets well wet so needs keeping dry),put a slightly bigger fuse back in and not had a prob since.

hope you get it sorted i got p*ssed of with shouting out the window so got it sorted.

nice1.

Isn't enough that they "seem" I'm afraid... they can be blown but still appear fine. Go to maplin and get a £3 multimeter and test continuity of each fuse.

more and likely the brake light switch on the pedal it has 2 wires going to it. unplug it and join a piece of wire in between if they come on its the switch that is faulty .

do not put higher amperage fuses in thats what causes fires , if the fuse blows when the horn is pressed the horn is taking 2 much current or the wiring is touching on the body somwhere, 99% the horn change it or go up insmoke when it gets worse , unless your lucky

the fuse blows for a reason , i've seen too many cars go up in smoke or burnt from peolpe sticking in higher amperage fuses , if the fuse dont blow the wiring melts .

disconnect the horn from the circuit and see if the fuse still blows. horns going south is quite a common prob on alot of cars, they are always mounted where they get **** wet through and covered in mud.
