Anyone else get a bit pis$ed off with Shell's tricks?

You want fuel - go in to fill up with diesel, but half the pumps ONLY have v-power diesel at 114.9p! Only a single pump on the forecourt has 'regular' diesel at "only" 107.9p

No wonder Shell are making £25,000 a minute with those sorts of tricks!

My local Shell had only V-Power unleaded last week, no 95 octane, no diesel.

Ran a few tank fulls of it and never noticed the difference. Added to the fact I live near one of their biggest refineries but live nowhere near one of their petrol stations..

Go to BP then and pay even more for standard stuff.

Shell are usually the cheapest for petrol and derv where I live, and in London.

Lucky sods you lot, I wish my local Shell had Vpower, try living in Inverness, only one shell, has Vpower about 1 a month for a few days, it shuts at 9pm every night, except at 7pm on a Sunday. now thats what i call **** lol

To clarify, there's no Shell garages anywhere near their big refinery. Which is near my house.

Sorry my 1st post upset you. It wasn't meant that way. I was mearly pointing out that V power seems a bit pointless in diesel form, especially considering I can't even buy it!

I pay 80p for V-Power 100 RON and that's expensive. Her Majesties govt are really ripping you guys off. I say hire a hitman for the PM.

Thought nothing of it.....

We use V-Power, and if there is ever a case around here of not being able to get fuel, it's always the V-Power they don't have. They have everything but.

the shell on brumby corner had sweet f-all on tuesday morning when i went to put in £10 for the hamsters in the cinq
