The NEW Star Trek film.... Star Trek XI
Well it's been years in the making and it's almost with us....
Faithful to the original, with Simon Pegg as Scotty and Zachary Quinto (Sylar from Heroes) as a younger Mr Spock!
I've not bothered with the next generation series of films, but this may have the potential to drag me back in to the cinema..... time will tell.
Good start to 2008 though

Simon Pegg being in it is potentially enough to drag me to the cinema too. I loved the original Star Trek and when I was a little girl I used to dream that Captain Kirk was my Dad and that I got to travel everywhere on the Enterprise with him

As long as there is a "Kirk, Spock, Bones and Ensign Jimmy in his red shirt beam down to the planet - guess which one of them is coming back in a body bag?" part I'll be happy

PMSL.....I would hate to be standing on that transporter, in my red shirt, looking around at the Doc, the first officer and the Captain......oh bu99er!

Lets hope they canned the annoying American aren't we the best and should impose our morality type scenes we may actually have a good film
So often the writers of Star Trek manage to stuff up what could have been really amazing episodes/films.

It probably has - the cinema trailer went out in the US today along with a new film by JJ Abrahams, the official internet version is due out on Monday.
Someone has filmed it off the cinema in the US and posted it on-line by the looks of thing.
