Finally got my act together and asked Mr Underwood if, now he's getting things sorted, he'd give my car the star treatment I keep reading about on the BB.
I've got to finalise a date, but it's looking like mid-May onwards. The guy's a one-man band, yet seems quite happy to make a long trek for a long day - so I thought I'd post this to see if there's anyone else in this neck of the woods who'd be interested (hope you don't mind, Mark!).
I'm actually in Beverley, but I suppose anyone in the region of East Yorks, North Lincs, North Yorks, West Yorks etc who's interested may make it a more viable option for the long distance Wizard.
I'll post my views on his performance - just hope it's as good as quite a few of you other Scooby-lovers have said!

Yes I would be intrested in the polishing

I have just moved to Beverley David! Fancy meeting up!?? Drop me a email in my profile and we can go from there. I know Mark well and would also be keen for him to have a go at my Scoob and I am sure there are others - Mike@PD, Geoff P etc etc plus PhilM and Bryn.

I haven't confirmed with the Wax Wizard as yet, but I'm hoping he can fit me in on Saturday May 12.
I'll be emailing him later and will say there are others interested in his wares - he might fancy coming up for a few days either side of that weekend...?

I suspect Mark will read this thread and post at some time, but for now I presume it would be best to email him direct so he can start planning.
I haven't had final confirmation, but it's looking 98% certain he'll "do" me on May 12.

Hi Mark if you read this.
been meaning to buy some goodies from you, running out of wash and a few other things, so if you fill the boot on your way up North I'm sure you can sell some stuff!!

Thx for the emails. Looks like that weekend of 12/13th May going to be a busy one for me.
Boot will be loaded with alsorts.
Teeside sounds OK and give me a week to get finals responses in b4 firming up...so far looks good.

I'll provide the refreshments. Forecast is good - fine excuse for a day out to Beverley, the capital of the East Riding.
Bit of wax, Burgess ice cream, tour of the Minster and a stroll on the Westwood. What could be finer? I hear the old RAF base at nearby Leconfield will let you use the runways for £45...
